Veterinarian Leo Aetos loves his life. He adores animals, has a great apartment in Brooklyn, and even has a favorite bar. The only thing he doesn’t have is someone to share it all with, which is easier said than done when he’s looking for a very specific kind of man. He needs someone who’s into the same things he is, which is a tall order. Sort of like him, at well over six feet.

Dog-trainer Chris Kinney figures there’s no way he’d be anything close to what Leo needs. He failed his last lover miserably, at least according to the ex, anyway. He just couldn’t be everything his ex needed him to be. Worse, he has some issues with his temper, and he’s not even sure he belongs in New York.

But Leo decides to take Chris on, with some help from some friends from Les’s Bar, and he knows pretty much right away he’s not going to want to let Chris go. But will he be able to convince Chris they can both get what they need, and that the ex has no right to threaten their new relationship?
